What is Threads?

This week, Mark Zuckerburg released a brand new social media platform to act as an extension of Instagram.

That platform is called Threads, and it's caused quite a bit of commotion in the creator community ever since.

Why should you care?

Staking its claim as the most rapidly downloaded app in history, tens of millions of creators and brands have taken to Threads to make their mark on the platform. Some creators have forgotten about other social media platforms altogether... including Instagram!

So, what is it? Threads was launched as a discussion forum for users to be able to post comments, opinions, talking points, or news

Then, other users on the platform can add replies to each specific post which creates a thread of conversation. Hence, the name Threads.

Not to mention, tons of creators are tapping into new audiences and seeing their follower count grow before their eyes by simply speaking their minds. Some have even scored sponsored post opportunities!

Perhaps most importantly, creators seem to be having more fun while letting their authentic selves shine.
